Please request datasheet on TI.com – if approved you will get access to the datasheet which does explain a lot of these concepts. 

I'd highly encourage you request the datasheet as that is our best source of info at this time – we are working on some higher level guides to help ease people new to this device into designing with this part – but I don't think they will be done until middle of Q3 most likely – so for the time being the datasheet is going to be your best bet.
