关于AM3358外接DDR和emmc有以下问题，望指教！
从TI官网看到的资料，DDR基本都是4Gb，EMMC基本都是4GB或512Mflash，能否做到
1、DDR能否扩展到16Gb；
2、EMMC扩展到8GB，甚至16GB。

从emmc启动，MMC0口必须小于4GB，MMC1口则没有限制。
TRM 26.1.8.5.2 System Interconnection
Each interface has booting restrictions on which type of memory it supports: –
• MMC0 supports booting from the MMC/SD card cage and also supports booting from
eMMC/eSD/managed NAND memory devices with less than 4GB capacity.
• MMC1 supports booting from eMMC/eSD/managed NAND memory device with 4GB capacity or
greater.am335x emif最大支持1GB可寻址空间。

感谢答复！DDR的问题已经可以确认。关于eMMC接口数据手册上说支持eMMC4.3接口，而目前主流的芯片都是eMMC5.0或eMMC5.1，如果使用eMMC5.0或eMMC5.1接口芯片，会不会存在接口兼容的问题！

The main issues with eMMC v4.5 and above is that they support faster speeds and different partitioning schemes that were not part of the v4.41 spec. As long as you conform to the 4.41 spec, you should be able to boot from the devices that support higher version specs.
