Designs with point to point connections between the AM57xx devices and a single DDR3 SDRAM typically do not need VTT termination, although, this may be needed depending on the specific PCB characteristics. For multiple device topologies or multi-die packages, VTT termination is required. A VTT termination regulator is required for properly terminating the address, command and control fly-by signals
