IWR1443BOOST: 关于距离矫正问题

在mmw Demo for XWR1443中看到说每个板子距离都存在几厘米误差,如下:

For most boards, a range bias of few centimeters has been observed. User can estimate the range bias on their board and correct using the calibration procedure described in Range Bias and Rx Channel Gain/Offset Measurement and Compensation.

我用DCA1000+iwr1443 测量的距离貌也是有固定偏移,这个如何矫正呢。上面的看不太懂。。

你好,这个貌似是针对demo的(或许是我没看懂)。我自己采集原始数据进行fft得到距离数据。在mmwave studio 或者哪里可以设置吗?

抱歉,上面的方法是针对mmw demo的。如果用的DCA1000的话,采集出来的是raw data,postproc没有校准。您可以参考下面帖子里用角反射器的方法。If you are using DCA1000, you can place a strong corner reflector (CR) at zero azimuth and zero elevation angle.   Carefully setup the scene so that there is no other objects in the similar range bin other than CR. https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/861862/iwr1443boost-iwr1443boost-dca1000-raw-data-process

"In this case, ideally the phase for all 12 virtual antenna should be all the same for the CR range bin.   If not, then it should be compensated to make the phase the same.  And this compensation can be used later for any capture."

你好,

如果只是对距离上的偏移做校准,正如之前Shine建议的,在一定的0度角位置(例如1m远)放上角反,对比fft输出range的距离和你实际放置的距离,这就是你之后需要纠正的距离偏差。
